CORRES PONDENCE
1.
Nav~l Officers' Association of Canada, Toronto Branch
submit comments directed to the Metropolitan Toronto
Planning Board relating to the Toronto Region Waterfront
Plan.
REPORTS
1.
The Township Engineer, Mr. Poulsson submits a report
dealing with the various equipment tenders opened at the
Council meeting of July 2nd.
2.
Township Engineer submits report dealing with installation
of storm sewers on Sheppard Ave. aDd Orchard Heights Drive.
RESOLUTIONS
1.
Resolution #198 68
MOVED by Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Councillor
D. Beer that WHEREAS the tender of Stan Davies Ltd. does
not meet the specifications set by the tender form
BE IT THBREPORE RESOLVED THAT the tender of Altona Feed
& Supply for the supply of a tractor and front end loader
at a total cost of $4,983.69 be accepted as recommended by
the Engineer.

Resolution t199/68
MOVED by Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Councillor
J. Kruger, that resolution number 194/68 accepting the
tender submitted by Elgin Ford for the supply of two 4
ton trucks with snow plow be recinded:
A1U) THAT the tender of Joe Burrows for the supply of two
4 ton trucks with snow plow wings be accepted subject to
delivery within 60 days as recommended by the Township
Engineer.

MOVED by Councillor J. Kruger, seconded by Councillor
D. Kitchen, that the Engineer be authorized to call tenders
for the installation of Storm Sewers at Sheppard Avenue,
Dunbarton and Orchard Heights Dr., Brougham.

GENERAL BUSINESS
Tax Submission-
Mr. Kruger reported that the Tax Submission to the Select
Committee of the Legislature dealing with the recommendations
of the Smith Committee had been very well received and that
he was pleased with the results.
Metarts -
Councillor Kitchen inquired whether additional copies of
the Metarts Study we¡:e available. He asked that the Deputy
Clerk determine whether additional copies were requested
and if not obtain a copy for him.
