COUNCIL MEETING
A meeting of the Pickering
Township Council was held
on MONDAY, the EIGHTH day
of MAY, 1972, at 9:1~ p.m.

European Municipalities)
By-Law Number 4195/72
Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Councillor K. Matheson,
moves for leave to introduce a By-law of the Township
of Pickering to amend By-law 2511 to permit an arena in
an industrial zone, and that same now be read a first
time.
Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Councillor J. Anderson
moves that By-law Number 4195/72 to amend By-law 25ll
to permit an arena in an industrial zone be now read a
second time, and that Council go into Committee of the
Wh le thereon.
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-law
as read.
Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Councillor D. Quick
moves that the report of the Committee of the Whole on
By-law Number 4l9S/72 be adopted, and that the said
by-law be now read a Third Time and PASSED, that the
Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the
Corporation be affixed thereto.
CARRIED
Moved by Councillor K. Matheson, seconded by Councillor
J. Anderson, that this Council meeting now adjourn at 9:30
p.m.
