Subject: Maddy Developments Inc., Plan of Subdivision 40M-2494
- Final Assumption of Plan of Subdivision

Recommendation:
1. That the works and services required by the Subdivision Agreement adjacent to
Plan 40M-2494, which are constructed, installed or located on lands dedicated to, or owned
by the City, including lands that are subject to easements transferred to the City, be
accepted and assumed for maintenance;
2. That Maddy Developments Inc. be released from the provisions of the Subdivision
Agreement and any amendments thereto relating to Plan 40M-2494; and
3. That the appropriate City of Pickering officials be authorized to take the necessary actions as
indicated in this report.
Executive Summary: The City entered into a Subdivision Agreement with the above-noted
developer for the development of the lands within Plan 40M-2494. As all works and services
adjacent to this plan have been completed to the satisfaction of City staff, it is appropriate to
assume the works and services adjacent to this plan under the jurisdiction of the City and to
release Maddy Developments Inc. from the provisions of the Subdivision Agreement and any
amendments thereto.
Financial Implications: Not applicable.
Discussion: The City entered into a Subdivision Agreement with the above-noted
developer for the development of the lands within Plan 40M-2494. As the developer has now
completed all of the works and services to the satisfaction of City staff, it is appropriate to assume
the works and services adjacent to Plan 40M-2494 under the jurisdiction of the City and to release
Maddy Developments Inc. from the provisions of the Subdivision Agreement and any
amendments related thereto.
