Mrs. Sloane submitted on behalf of her Association, a brief (see copy on file) which in essence sets out their desire to participate in the future development of their community. She asked Council to defer any decision on the proposal by Picketing Developments Limited until such time as their members had an opportunity to study this plan and also expressed the desire for her and some of their members to sit down with the developers to see if they could arrive at a plan that would satisfy all concerned. Mr. Israeli expressed his views at this request agreeing to sit down and discuss the plan, suggesting he would be willing to relocate the sites of the proposed high rise, constructing townhouses in these locations. He did feel that the Township needed high rise development, however. ~ M~s.
