COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Council Meeting was held on Thursday, December 21st
1978 at 3:00 p.m. in the Committee Room.

The purpose of this Special Council Meeting was to approve the
Planning Committee Report of December 19th 1978 and th approve
Restricted Area By-law Number 929/78.

That the report of the Planning Committee dated December 19th
1978, be approved.

BY-LAW
By-Law Number 929/78
Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Dickerson moved
for leave to introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering being
a Restricted Area By-law, to amend Restricted Area By-law 2511,
as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of
Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham, in Part
Lot 19, Concession 1, Town of Pickering, and that same be
now read a first, second and third time and that the same be
now finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same
and that the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed.

CONFIRMATION BY-LAW
By-Law Number 930/78
Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Kitchen moved
for leave to introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering
to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering at its meeting held on the 21st
day of December 1978, and that same be now read a first,
second and third time and that the same be now finally passed
and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and that the Seal
of the Corporation be thereto affixed.
CARRIED
