Moved by Councillor Cahill
Seconded by Councillor Robertson
That Members of Council be authorized to attend the following
conventions in 1985:
1.
Association of Municipalities of Ontario.
2.
Canadian Parks and Recreation Association.
3.
Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
4.
Association of Counties and Regions of Ontario.
5.
Cities and Energy Conference.

That Tender T-20-84 submitted by Ontario Bus Industries for the
supply and delivery of one 36 foot transit passenger vehicle in
the amount of $142,499.00, be approved.

STATUTORY PUBLIC MEETING
1.
Councillor Robertson, seconded by Councillor Mitchell
moved for leave to introduce a By-law of the Town of
Pickering:
By-law Number 1948/85
Being a Zoning by-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning)
By-law 2511, as amended to implement the Official Plan
of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area, Region
of Durham on Part of Lots 28, 29, 30 and Water Lots,
Range 2 and 3, B.F.C., in the Town of Pickering.

THIRD READING
Councillor Robertson, seconded by Councillor Mitchell
moved that the report of the Committee of the Whole on
By-law Number 1948/85 be adopted, and that the said
By-law be now read a Third Time and PASSED, and that the
Mayor and Clerk sign the same and the seal of the Cor-
poration be affixed thereto.
CARRIED
By-law read a First, Second and Third Time and Finally
Passed.

CONFIRMATION BY-LAW
By-law Number 1949/85
Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Robertson moved for
leave to introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering to confirm
the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering at its meeting held on January 7, 1985 and that same be
now read a first, second and third time and that the same be now
finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and that
the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed.
CARRIED
