COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held
on Monday, January 17, 1983 at 8:46 P.M.
Pursuant to Section 4 of By-law 3714 (Procedural By-law),
this special meeting of Council was called to consider
a draft by-law to rezone lands owned by Canadian Tire on
the northeast corner of Kingston Road and Liverpool Road.

BY-LAWS
Councillor Cahill seconded by Councillor Mitchell moved
for leave to introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering:
By-law Number 1612/83
Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend Restricted Area
By-law 3036, as amended, to implement the Official Plan
of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area Region
of Durham, in Block A, Part Block B, Plan M-998, (Part
1-16, inclusive, Plan 40R-7347) in the Town of Pickering.

Councillor Cahill seconded by Councillor Robertson moved
that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law
Number 1612/82 be adopted, and that the said By-law be
now read a Third Time and PASSED and that the Mayor and
Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be
affixed thereto.
CARRIED
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally
passed.
