Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Byers moved that
the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Numbers
1459/82, 1460/82, 1461/82 and 1462/82 be adopted, and that
the said By-laws be now read a Third Time and PASSED and
that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of
the Corporation be affixed thereto.

1.
OTHER BUSINESS
Councillor Stoner reported that there was seepage
from the Beare Road Landfill Site into the Rouge
River on March 13, 1982 and the Metro Commission
of Works will be investigating this. The Comm-
issioner will also be investigating the odours
which are eminating from the Liverpool Landfill
Site.

leave to introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering to
confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering at its meeting held on March 15,
1982, and that same be now read a first, second and third
time and that the same be now finally passed and that the
Mayor and Clerk sign the same and that the Seal of the
Corporation be thereto affixed.
