By-law No. 7459/15
Being a by-law to provide for advance votes to
• be held prior to the 2016 By-election Voting
Day.
Whereas Section 43(1) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, provides that a municipal
council shall pass a by-law establishing one or more dates for an advance vote and the
hours during which voting places shall be open on that date or dates;
Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereb y enacts as
follows:
1. An advance vote shall be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 between the hours of
10:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Pickering City Hall.
2. A second advance vote shall be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 between the
hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Pickering City Hall.
By-law passed this 14th day of December, 2015.
