RESOLUTIONS
Resolution #154/01
Moved by Councillor Ryan
Seconded by Councillor McLean
That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c MAS, as amended, the Council of
the Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a closed meeting to consider a matter
involving litigation.
CARRIED
John Reble, Solicitor for the City, introduced Ross Dunsmore and Daniel Wong of the lawfirm of Hicks,
Morley. He noted that he had asked Daniel Wong to undertake a supplementary investigation into the
issue of unauthorized construction on the UxbridgeIPickering Townline and Sideline 8.
Daniel Wong provided an overview of his report arid on the supplementary investigation.
John Reble read a letter he had received by FAX on November 19, 2001 from Virginia MacLean, who is
- representing Councillor Johnson, which sets out the position of Councillor Johnson.
