HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2119/85THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NU~ER 2119/85 Being a by-law to constitute a Cu,u~itte of Adjustments under the Planning Act, 1983 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 43 of the Planning Act, S.O. 1983, chapter 1, the council of a municipality may by by-law constitute and appoint a committee of adjustment where the municipality has enacted a by-law u~er section 34 or a predecessor thereof; and WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering has enacted several by-laws under section 34 thereof or a predecessor thereof; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The Town of Pickering Committee of Adjustment shall be continued, consisting of five persons appointed by by-laws, and having the power to authorize minor variances from the provisions of any by-law of the Town that implements an official plan, and to grant its permission to matters set out in section 43(2) of the Act. 2. By-law Number 1749/83 is hereby repealed. BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 16th day of December, 1985.
