Lakeshore GO Trains run daily along 83 km of track between Oakville in the west and Whitby in the east. Extra trains run at morning and evening rush hours, and GO Buses connect Oshawa and Bowmanville with trains at the Whitby GO station. We also offer service to Union Station for special events such as Blue Jays baseball and Argo football games at Toronto's SkyDome, and to Exhibition station for attractions on the CNE grounds. GO BUS & TRAIN SERVICE WESTBOUND GO TRAIN SERVICE GO Trains depart hourly from Pickering station every day with extra trains at rush hours. Downtown Toronto is less than 40 minutes away. EASTBOUND GO BUS SERVICE Highway 2 service east from Pickering GO station to Oshawa Bus Terminal with connections east to Bowmanville. The Easy Way to GO for a DAY GO riders who do not have a monthly pass or multi -ride ticket can purchase a Day Pass good for one day's unlimited travel between two points on the GO network. (The Day Pass is non- refundable.) Save $20.00 on travel with WIN PASS 1-7— Regular users of GO and TTC services can buy their GO Transit adult monthly pass and TTC Metropass in one transaction, and at a $20.00 discount. Twin passes are on sale at Pickering GO station starting on the 24th of each month. (Remember, you must have a TTC photo ID to use the TTC Metropass.) Group Discounts 5 for the price of 2 A group of up to five people can get a return trip on the GO system for the cost of two regular fares -- as long as one or two people in the group are 18 years or older. Just show your monthly GO pass or POP ticket to the Pickering Transit dri- ver and you'll ride to the GO Train station free. It works on the way home too! Just show your GO pass or POP ticket to the Pickering Transit driver. The Catch? You must have purchased your GO adult or student monthly pass, Twin Pass, 2-ride, or 10 ride POP tick- ets in advance. And you'll avoid all the traffic and parking hassles. In order to provide better public trans- portation to our rapidly expanding com- munity, additional vehicles have been purchased and incorporated into our fleet of new diesel buses. Times and routes have been altered in some areas in order to provide more frequent service and to make better connections within the system as well as with GO Transit. These improvements are designed to keep abreast of the transportation de- mands within our town as well as antici- pate the future needs of the community.
