Dear Mr. Miller
It was a pleasure to meet you at the International
Plowing Match last Friday. There were a few ques-
tions that you had and I'm afraid I wasn't sure
enough to give you all of the answers.
You will be hired for a six month term and will work
four days a week (Tuesday to Friday) at the rate of
$4.10 per hour. From your cheques, income tax,
Canada Pension and unemployment insurance will be
deducted. You are entitled to 14 sick days per month
and 4% vacation pay. You will be paid for statuatory
holidays if you work the day before and after, however,
in the case where two statuatory holidays occur the
same week -end (eg. Good Friday and Easter Monday), you
will be paid for one only. Casual 2's are not entitled
to medical coverage.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
We await confirmation of the date when your employment
will begin with the Museum.
