Dear Mr. Miller:
With respect to your application to fill the Curator of
Agriculture vacancy at Upper Canada Village, and subsequent
interview at this office on June 22nd, I must now inform
you that a candidate has been selected to fill that
position and he has re -affirmed his acceptance of that
appointment. We had five excellent candidates and I can
assure you that the selection was a most difficult one
to make.
I have been asked to express, to you, the deep appreciation
of the Selection Committee for taking time out to appear
for interview. The discussion we had with you was most
interesting and informative and your book on Brougham was
a delight to look at.
When you are in this area, at some later date, try to drop
in on Mr. W. J. Patterson (Superintendent of Historic Sites)
and he will ensure that you get a "guided" tour through
those parts of the Village which you would like to see.
