PICKERING -- Anne Bragg’s five daughters
keep things lively, to say the least.
Her middle daughter, five-year-old Rebec-
ca, who has autism with hyperactivity, con-
tributes to the hectic lifestyle that comes
along with a family of seven.
“She is high-functioning but only has about
30 words in her vocabulary,” Ms. Bragg said,
adding she has potential to function in soci-
ety, as well as the possibility to use regular
speech.
Ms. Bragg and her husband, Robert, make
use of “Footprints,” a weekly outreach pro-
gram at Dunbarton-Fairport United Church,
which offers a respite program for families
with children 13 years and under that have
