OMERRYWOOD.
Mise E. Maine spent Sunday with frien6s
in Cedar'Groye.
Mrs. Dixon, of Toronto, is visiting vAth
her father, John Kirton.
Bob has purchased a new buggy Srom 1E.
E. Poynter which adds considerably to the
joy and comfort of the young ladies.
We notice Jae. Clavton wheeling thron*
here occasionally. Our curiosity is some.
what aroused as to where he is going,
A few from here attended the exhibiti"s ..
The majority are saving their uiekles,
dimes and quarters to have the more at
Markham fair.
Avery large crowd attended the song
service at the church Sunday evenihn. A
good number bad to leave not being able
to gain admittance.
The choir held a watermelon soeis&
among themselves on Saturday evining
They might have finished the peelings and
left things looking better for Sunday morn-
ing.
It is getting rather dangerous travelling
on our streets in the evening. Thejunicr
bicycle clah practices always between sis
and eight o'clock. No. accidents haveyyet
occured but the ditches are getting fill:
with disabled wheels. Excessive use is the
only cause.
Not alone is the -junior bicycle club, et
work filling the ditches as a portion of the
senicfclub were at the same work on SeA-
urday evening, the unfortunate being WaL
Sinclair and Hubert Hedges: While rid;
ing on King st., on the evening mentioned
these two gentlemen collided, ;wrecking
both wheels acid put ting;.Mr..Hedges under
the physician's care, having received a lad
cutover the eve. Mr. Sinclair was let go
with a severe shaking up.
