The Dog Tax and Sheep Protection Act imposes a penalty of $10.00 on the owner or harborer of any dog for which a tag is not procured from the Assessor or Clerk and such tag kept secujrely fixed to the animal at all times. Untagged dogs found off the premises of the owner or harborer and not under control may be killed, The provisions of the Act will in future be strictly enforced in the Township of Pickering. TAKE NOTICE that you are assessed as above specified for the year 1934. if you deem yourself over.charged, or otherwise improperly assessed, you or your agent may notify the Clerk of the Munici pality in writing of such over -charge or improper assessment, within 14 days after the 30th day of April,1934, or within 14 days after the date when the Assessment Roll shall be filed with the Clerk,of the said Township, in case it is not so filed until after the said 30th day of April, 1934, and your complaint shall be tried by the Uourt of Revision for the Municipality of the Township of Pickering.
