PRESENT
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
To our regular theatre goers, "welcome back", to
those of you visiting us for the first time a sincere
"Welcome!"
It is indeed very exciting to be celebrating our 10th
Anniversary season, Especially so by producing a
Canadian play "Blood Relations", which won the
Governor Generals Literary Award for Drama in
1981 for Canadian playwright Sharon Pollock. We
are doubly fortunate to have Director Steven
Ballantine who's services have been made possible by
a grant from Theatre Ontario and by permission of
Canadian Actors Equity. The ten years since we
produced our first play seem to have flown by and,
thanks to yo,i our supporters, we have been able to
enlarge our season from 2 to 3 plays a year. We have
also tried to bring you a much improved play bill.
Despite our lack of a permanent home (theatre) we
have managed to provide top calibre shows with
talented acting. Our group has gained Province -wide
recognition. Like all community theatre groups we
constantly need members. Why not join us? and
enjoy our theatrical and social activities.
