"New Church at Duffin's Creek A meeting was held at the Temperance Hall, Duffin's Creek, on Monday last for the purpose of raising subscriptions towards the building of a new English brick Church at that place. A committee was appointed for the purpose and Mr. John Lepper selected as Treasurer.
