After a lengthy illness, Mrs. Pearson Westgate passed away at the East General
Hospital, Toronto on Monday, August 12th, at the age of 65 years.
The deceased was the former Hannah Morrison, and was born on the homestead here.
She is survived, by her husband, Pearson Westgate, one daughter, Mrs. Ed. Schwalm
(Margaret) and three grandchildren; also a brother and sister: Mr. F. Morrison, and
Mrs. J. Gormley. Mrs. Westgate was a member of the Dunbarton United Church and a
former member of the choir, and had, recently been made an honorary member of the
Dunbarton Woman’s Association. The funeral took place on Wednesday,
Aug. 14th with service at the home at 2.30 p. m, and interment in the Erskine Cemetery,
Rev. M. R. Jenkinson, of Pickering, officiating.
