Apr 16, 1926. —After a lingering and painful illness from cancer, Henry Morrison died at his home on the second concession west of the village, on Thursday, April 8th, in his 62nd year. His funeral took place on Saturday to Erskine Cemetery and was attended by a large number of friends and relatives. Mr. Morrison, who was a son of the late Henry Morrison Sr., was born just west of Dunbarton, and, with the exception of two years spent in Toronto, he has been a resident of Pickering Township all his life. He is survived by his wife, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Sanders, two sons, Frank, at home, and Norman, teller of the Standard Bank, Pickering; also one daughter, Hilda, who has been residing at home since her father became ill. He is also survived by one brother, Fleming, on the homestead just east of Dunbarton, and three sisters, Janet, in the homestead, and Mrs. Jos. B, Gormley and Mrs. T. P. Westgate, of Dunbarton. Deceased was held in high esteem, and the heartfelt sympathy of the community is extended to the sorrowing family in their bereavement. "
