Horticultural Society Picnic Few people in Pickering Township know that there is so delightful and interesting a place in the township, as Twin Waters, the summer home with the Old Mill Museum, of C. R. Purcell. He and his good wife welcomed the Horticultural friends at their place on Saturday last, when a delightful time was spent. After inspection of the many implements of farm and home seen in the Mill, and a visit to the gardens and ponies, a tea was served on the lawns. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Moore, M. P. and Harry and Mrs. Newman were among the visitors. Alex. Gourlie, on behalf of the Society, extended thanks to the host and hostess for the splendid [picnic] "
