The foundation holds its tea and annual general meeting Thursday, June 17 at the Petticoat Creek Community Centre. Guest speaker is professor Craig Heron, who discusses the development of alcohol legislation. Other special guests include a representative from the Ontario Historical Society to present the museum village with the 'Museum Award of Excellence in Community Programming' and the Backwoods Players as a delegation from the Toronto Women's Christian Temperance Union. The meeting is open to all. The community centre is at 470 Kingston Rd. in Pickering. Call the village at 905-683-8401. "
