The record of bargain and sales of this lot is as follows: Patent 8 July 1799 to Henry Smith '- 4020 B.S. 13 July 1821 " names Hubbard '- 26834 B.S. 16 Dec, 1845 (Sk) James Hubbard 38150 B.S. 4 October 1050 (Sk) Archibald C. Thamaw ✓ 1655 B.S. 26 August 1054 (Sk) !' Charles Thompson 20291 B.S. 27 Ccs 1862 (Sk) " Archibald C. Thomson 23397 B.S. 19 April 1864 (Sk) " Jahn Smith r Checking registry office instruments I find that Archibald C. Thomman was a lumber merchant, whose address s Trenton in 1054, and the Village of Angus, Ease TV., in Simone Cuddly, in 1862 6 1864. Charles Thompson (spelled with a "p") was a wcarpenter and In 1854 resided 1n Picker- ing Toahlp, but had moved to Angus by 1862. In 1862 Charles was married e to Elizabeth _. In 1864 Archibald Thomson's wife is given as Saphrona M. Thomson. There is a book published in 1911 by Witham g. Bond called Past Years in Pickering. It contains a biographical sketch-ef Andrew Thompson, innkeeper (his fan the southwest t of i�t ssien 5). Y� in which the authorsayshis Thompson s the w who established a deer park in the south half of his lot. I.e.I lot 13. eI have no reference to the name 'Thompson s Corners." Archibald and Charles may very well be related, however. It seems evident that Andrew Thompson is of a different Emily.
