township, Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Strickland, widow of the late Owen Stricklnad, died suddnely at her
home in Toronto on Sunday at the age of 85 years. Her husband predeceased her about ten
years. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Strickland lived on the farm now owned and occupied by
W.H. Moore, M.P. They were very highly esteemed in the community and were very active in
church work, being connected with St. George's Church. Their daughter, Miss Strickland, who
died about ten years ago, was a missionary in India for 23 years.
