CherryWood Station To Stay Put!
Cherrywood Station on the C.P.R. will stay right where it is as far as Pickering Township is
concerned.
The C.P.R. have asked the Council to approve of their removing the building, which is not
now used as a station.
Reeve Laycox said that it could be used some day as a station for commuter service.
“If we let it go now, we will never get it back” said Counsillor Bill Newman.
Claremont station nearly went the same way, Reeve Laycox commented.
