Mowbray, Reeve; James Richards, First Deputy; Thomas Beare, Second Deputy; Wm. G. Barnes, Third-Deputy; James Underhill, Councillor. While Messrs. Mowbray and Richards are the only two who have had any experience in council matters, the three new comers are successful business men and should prove adapts at acquiring municipal lore. Not one of these men have before striven for municipal honors, and Mr. Underhill was even allowed, to take his seat without opposition—a remarkable thing when all the other candidates had vigorous opposition. The first meeting takes place on Monday next, when the standing committee for the year will be struck. This committee arranging is an important matter as those familiar with township affairs well know. "
