IN THE MATTER of the ESTATE of LUCY ANN BUNDY late of the Village of Claremont in the County of Ontario, Widow, deceased. KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that we, James Underhill, Thomas Condy, Luther Pilkey and Joseph Readman, the Trustees of the Methodist Church at Claremont in the Township of Pickering in the County of Ontario, do hereby acknowledge that we have this day had and received of and from THOMAS PATERSON and JAMES UNDERHILL, the executors of the estate of the above named Lucy Ann Bundy, deceased. the sum of Two hundred Dollars in full satisfaction and payment of the Specific legacy devised and bequeathed to the said Methodist Church under the last will and Testament and codicile of the said Lucy Ann Bundy, deceased, and therefore we the said James Underhill, Thomas Condy, Luther Pilkey and Joseph Readman, Trustees as aforesaid, do by these presents remise release quit claim and forever discharge the said Thomas Paterson and James Underhill, Executors as aforesaid their respective heirs, executors and administrators as aforesaid, of and from the claim for said specific legacy and of and from all actions, claims and demands for or by reason thereof. AND We the said James Underhill, Thomas Condy, Luther Pilkey and Joseph Readman undertaking and agreeing with the said Executors that we as trustees of the said Methodist Church will properly invest the said Two hundred dollars and pay the income derived therefrom half-yearly to the Treasurer of said Church for church purposes.
