23, 1949, page 1.Mrs. Frank WhiteFuneral services were held last Friday, for the late Mrs. Frank
White, who passed away on December 13, at her home after a lingering illnessBorn in Pickering
Twp. on the White's sideroad, Dunbarton, she was the former Nellie Thom, whose parents were
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Thom passed away just a few years ago. She attended Dunbarton school and
later, Malvern Collegiate. She was a member of Dunbarton United Church, the W.A. and the
W.M.S. and was widely known throughout the district. Follwing her marriage to Mr. White, they
farmed near the Base Line, before moving to the present farm on Kingston Road.Surviving are:
her husband and one daughter, Georgina.Rev. J.K. Braham, of Dunbarton United Church
officiated at the funeral from the family residence. Interment was made at Erskine Cemetery.
