Rosebank, Ont.The death took place at Toronto East General Hospital, on Sunday, Octover 29,
of Mrs. Gerald Cowan, of Rosebank, following a long illness.Mrs. Cowan, the former Margaret S.
Scott, was very well known in Pickering. An active worker in many women's groups , the church,
and the local Hortcultural Society, she became very well acquainted with a large number of
Pickering citizens.The funeral took place on Tuesday from Toronto, with interment at Melville
Cemetery, West Hill.She is survived by her husband, a brother, George M. Scott, Montreal, Mrs.
Alex Annan, Aurora, Jean and Harold of Toronto.
