Gormley, passed away at his residence, 35 Woodville Ave., Toronto, last Friday morning. He had been ill for a number of years.The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Gormley, he spent his early days on his father's farm at the Lake Shore, and attended the Base Line school. Following his schooling, he worked for a time on the farm, and went through the township with his threshing outfit. He carried on the carpenter trade for a number of years prior to going to Oshawa with General Motors. Moving to Toronto, he married the former Louise Foston, a Dunbarton girl. He was a member of the former Methodist Church and the I.O.O.F.He is survived by his wife; two sons, James and William, a brother Joseph of Dunbarton.The funeral service was held on Monday from the chapel of the McDoughall and Brown, Directors, with interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
