Recently Mulcahy was dubbed 'Big Rhonda' in a hot mic momentby Whitby Deputy Mayor Chris Leahy in an Oct. 4 council meet-ing. Mulcahy finds it all pretty de- meaning. A recently passed mo-tion by the Durham Re-gional Police ServicesBoard calls on Chief Todd Rollauer to "develop a pro-cedure for COVID-19 vacci-nation of DRPS members"and submit it for discus-sion at the board's Novem-ber meeting. The motion, reviewed during the board's meetingon Oct. 19, comes in re-sponse to a direction fromDurham Regional council for the police service todraft a policy similar tothat implemented by the region for its workers. The regional policy im- poses a deadline for work-ers to provide proof of fullvaccination by Dec. 20. Durham Regional Po-lice Association presidentColin Goodwin said he'sbeen awaiting word from the service on a vaccina-tion mandate policy. Hesaid he's been hearing from members, including offi-cers, who are curious to seewhat kind of guidelinesmay be adopted. "They don't have a poli-cy yet. I can't take a stancewhile I don't know whatthey're doing," Goodwin said. The association, whichrepresents more than 800 sworn officers and about300 civilian employees, hasrecommended members bevaccinated, Goodwin said. The association awaits de-tails on the service's inten-tions regarding mandatory vaccination and disclosure of vaccination status, among other details."I've got contingency plans for about six differ-ent scenarios," Goodwinsaid. Some neighbouring po- lice services, including To-ronto, have adopted man-datory vaccine guidelines for members. In Durhamregion, entities such as re-gional government and La-keridge Health have also introduced mandates. The police board's direc-tive to Chief Rollauer calls for a policy that prioritizesthe health and safety of em-ployees and the citizenswith whom they interact and outlines clear time-lines for implementationthat recognize the "urgen-cy" imposed by the CO- VID-19 pandemic. The motion passed withlittle discussion. Board member Kevin Ashe indi-cated his desire to see a vac-cine mandate adopted bythe police service. "There should be man-dated vaccination forDRPS members," he said. Why? One word: Delta."Last year we were deal-ing with Alpha, which isless contagious and lesstransmissible, but this timewe're dealing with Delta. Itis so much more transmis- sible," says Winnie Sun, apublic health nurse and as-sistant professor with theFaculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University. There have been 17 school COVID-19 outbreaksin Durham Region so far inthe 2021-22 school year, ac-cording to health depart- ment data up to Oct. 24.At the same point in Oc-tober 2020, there had been four. The key to defining anoutbreak is transmissiontaking place in school — or at before- and after-schoolcare or on school transpor-tation. An outbreak is definedas two or more laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 casesin students or staff "with an epidemiological link with-in a 14-day period where atleast one case could havereasonably acquired their infection in the school."Schools and child careare now the leading source of COVID-19 outbreaks inOntario.Data from Public HealthOntario shows 185 ongoing outbreaks in the provinceas of Oct. 21 — 95 of which were in schools or child-care settings, representing51 per cent.In comparison there were 22 outbreaks in work-places, 10 in congregate liv-ing settings and one in a hospital.Durham schools have al-so reported double thenumber of COVID cases in schools this fall. From the start of the2020-21 school year to Oct. 24, there were 87 confirmedcases at schools in Durham— that number for thesame period in 2021 is 204 cases. "Durham Region HealthDepartment continues totell families that it is impor- tant that parents andguardians continue toscreen children for symp- toms each day to avoidbringing COVID-19 intoschools," says a statementfrom the health depart- ment. "Screening and test-ing are very important measures that help to con-trol the spread of COVID-19. Even if you or your child isfully vaccinated, you mustcontinue with daily screen- ing and testing if you oryour child have one ormore COVID-19 symp-toms." Sun says vaccination foryounger children will be a crucial step toward ad-dressing school transmis- sion and outbreaks. "Once the children canget vaccination that will re- ally reduce the communityspread and bring societycloser to reaching herd im-munity," she says. "Once the vaccine is approved forchildren, I really want to reassure parents not to beafraid about the possibleside effects."Health Canada is con- sidering approval of thefirst COVID-19 vaccine forkids age five to 11 in Cana- da.A recent survey by An-gus Reid shows only 51 percent of parents plan to im- mediately vaccinate theirkids when a pediatric dosebecomes available. Of parents with childrenin the five to 11 year agerange, 23 per cent said theywould never give their kids a COVID-19 vaccine, 18 percent said they would wait, and nine per cent said theyweren't sure, according to the survey of 5,011 Canadi-ans between Sept. 29 andOct. 3. SCHOOLS HAVE 4 TIMES MORE COVID OUTBREAKS THAN LAST FALL Applecroft Public School is gearing up for the return of students in the era of COVID-19. OPINION TO LEARN HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR OWN CONTENT VISIT DURHAMREGION.COM LETTERS & COMMENTARY All the rains and warmweather have been great for pumpkins, judging by the great orange globesdecorating doorways right now. Happy Halloween! Plus the weather has been marvellous for fungi.I've seen mushrooms pop- ping up in surprising plac- es, four totally different ones within five meters of our back door. Small pearl- grey, almost translucent "parasols" in the grass bythe garden shed. Rusty- brown leathery ones marching along the drip line of eaves in the side yard, and a bulbous, con- vex cream-and-orange standalone right beside thesteps. And most intriguing of all, a fairy ring of big white speckled ones encir- cling our brush pile.By "big" I mean 14 to 16 cm tall, on stalks 2 cm thick. The caps unfurl intogreat flat circles averaging 18 cm in diameter, with the largest at least 22 cm across. I've been checkingthem daily since they first appeared, and counted 30 altogether, the first onesshrinking and collapsing as others sprang up around the edge of the brush pile, ideal for leprechauns toshelter under. Though I've been out on walks with mushroom ex- perts over the years, and am forever intrigued by the multitude of colours and shapes of fungi in a fallwoods, I know so little about them. They've been around for 1.5 billion years, according to DNA studies, with the earliest known fossil record from 635 mil- lion years ago in China. Iunderstand about "fairy rings" — the mycelium fila- ments growing outward ina circle from where a spore first landed, eating up dead organic matter as they go and producing fruitingbodies at the outer edge year after year. I've heard there's a mushroom ring inFrance a kilometre across and 700 years old! Trying to identify my brush pile mushrooms —surely distinctive enough to have half a chance? — had me thumbing through pictures in our field guides, and coming up with a possibility of amani- ta muscaria, or fly agaric— right size and shape, and common in Ontario woods. But too yellow? And as poi- sonous as death cap, anoth- er amanita, though I had no intention of testing that! A fungi specialist Iknow ID'd my big umbrel- las as something else en- tirely: chlorophyllum rha- codes — living in grass, widespread but uncom- mon, and edible. I had to look up the word"saprobic" — it means these fungi decompose dead plant material to derive their energy, performing ahuge recycling service for planet Earth. Many other fungi, the mycorrhizae, form vital partnerships with trees, exchanging sug- ars for essential minerals and other nutrients plantscan't access on their own. Nature queries: mcar- ney1490@gmail.com or 905- 725-2116. Margaret Carney is a nature-appreciation col-umnist for MetrolandDurham newspapers. WET, WARM WEATHER GREAT FOR FUNGI: DURHAM COLUMNIST MARGARET CARNEY Column Columnist Margaret Carney wondered what mushrooms were growing in her backyard, including this type with a 'big umbrella." She asked a specialist, who said they were chlorophyllum rhacodes, "widespread but uncommon." They are also edible -- perhaps in a breakfast omlette? Phill Holder photo IT'S CALLED WHAT? DON’T DETEST THE UNVACCINATED To the editor: I recently read the en-tirety of the latest Claring-ton This Week paper, and I noticed two comments inthe Letters and Commen-tary section that I interpretas incitement toward the unvaccinated. The rhetoric toward theunvaccinated is concern- ing to me because the dia-logue often marginalizesand dehumanizes people inour community. As a community, weneed to condemn all formsof hatred, and that includes hatred toward the unvacci-nated.JOSHUA GLOVER,OSHAWA NOISY VEHICLES 'UNNECESSARY, RIDICULOUS' To the editor:Re: 'Something needs tobe done' about noise-mak-ing mufflers in Durham. I am in total agreementwith the article on the front page. This unnecessary, self-ish, noise pollution is ridic- ulous. Add to that the amountof people playing music intheir homes. The only thing everyone else in theneighborhood can hear isthe bass ... Boom ... Boom — In between hearing theroaring of "souped up" ve-hicles.I love music, but not from six houses away whenyou are trying to put chil-dren to bed. While I understand that there will be costs involvedto enforce this for vehicles, regarding time and equip- ment, it is necessary.I also would like to knowwhere all the tax dollarsare going here in Oshawa. Since we are buildinghundreds of new, expen-sive homes which people will be paying huge landtransfer tax fees on.Not to mention all the resale homes sold andtaxed, if you can find a home for 825K -- land trans-fer tax approximately 13Kplus tax. Where is all the moneybeing spent? Certainly not on ourroads upkeep. More houses, more cars, more taxes ... more noisepollution. No actual affordablehousing .... Roads are full ofpotholes.Who is stepping up in Oshawa looking out for theaverage person? Nobody, just keeplooking after themselves, which if I remember cor-rectly is the public purse. So maybe someone is lis- tening.M. R. Having the same job and get-ting it the same way is a theme re- peated by women in politicsacross Durham region. They saidthey believe they are often treat- ed differently by their male coun-terparts and sometimes by thepublic.Though only 38, Pickering-Ux- bridge Liberal MP JenniferO'Connell has been in politicsnearly half her life. She served 10 years on Pickering council andhas been in Parliament the pastsix. She said it's become better over the years for her, especiallyonce she got to Ottawa."I often get assumed to be someone's assistant," she said."In a debate, you're constantlyattacked for your appearance or intelligence; if you look at malecolleagues on the same topic, in-stead it's why someone doesn'tlike that policy," she said. For Ajax regional councillorMarilyn Crawford, a political vet-eran of 22 years, it's a different world than when she started. ButCrawford, who served as a trust-ee, then as a local councillor andnow sits on regional council, said she has "literally come upthrough the ranks. I'm noslouch." But she sometimes feels likewhen she asks questions, "I'm be-ing dismissed or patted on thehead (by male colleagues)." And she really doesn't thinkit's fair that a "woman who is am-bitious in politics is considered a bitch, where the man with sameambitions is just an ambitiousman."Whitby regional councillor Elizabeth Roy — like Crawford, a longtime political veteran — said"there's a difference between adifference of opinion betweencouncil members and personal attacks which get thrown out atcouncil members."When she firstjoined regional council several decades ago, she remembers be-ing called "little girl" on the coun-cil floor by several male councilmembers. "It is demeaning. I have a valueand I have input."But Oshawa city councillor Jane Hurst, in her first term onOshawa council, has a differentview, borne of her decades of ex- perience in the workforce."I'm 64 years old," she said."Over the course of my life, I'vebeen on the receiving end of nega- tive comments, sexual harass-ment, but you get over it, youmove on, you consider the source and you go on. It's unfortunatethe councillor's mic was on. If hewas my husband, I would causehim more grief than anyone else would in the public realm. We'reall human, we say things weshouldn't say or think out loud. Iread the story and said, 'Oh, c'mon on, it was a mistake.'"Ajaxlocal councillor Lisa Bower wastaken aback when she knocked on doors and several times wastold, "It's a good thing you're notrunning for mayor because that'sa man's job."You don't really know what to say to that," thefirst-term councillor said.Bower also remembers being asked to go get a coffee for themanager at her first job inter-view or being asked during herworking life if the reason she was emotional was because "it wasthat time of the month."She said that happened before she came to council. For Celina Caesar-Chavannes,the former Whitby MP who served from 2015 to 2019, first as aLiberal and then as an Indepen-dent, the issue is more complexthan men versus women. "The reason why men feel theycan do these things is because weare women who are heavy-set, or women who are Black, or womenwho are young. Some people whohave never had to experience thiskind of pain believe it really doesn't exist or it's not that bad,"Caesar-Chavannes said. STORY BEHIND THESTORY: A hot mic moment whena male councillor insulted afemale councillor prompted a wider look at Durham femalepoliticians and their experiencesin politics and with their malecolleagues. How is their experi-ence different? Eight of them toldus their stories. The list was com-piled by Zoocasa, a broker-age that studies the real es-tate market and providesinformation to consumers.Zoocasa averaged thelist prices and the final sales prices and then calcu-lated the difference. In Whitby, on a homewith a list price of $938,831,the house sold for $1,092,945. That's a differ-ence of 16.4 per cent.In Oshawa, a home witha list price of $732,499 sold for $838,897 and that's a dif-ference of 14.5 per cent. The difference in Ajax is13.3 per cent -- a home listedat $920,323 sold for$1,043,006.Ottawa was the top mar- ket, while Windsor round- ed out the top five.In a release, PenelopeGraham of Zoocasa noted, "Notably, three of the top-five markets are located inthe Durham Region, longconsidered a hot alterna- tive to the City of Toronto,at a commutable distance."Toronto usually has the hottest price growth in On-tario. However, some buy-ers look to other communi-ties in the GTA and around Ontario."COVID-19 has shiftedthat reality; markets big and small across Ontariohave experienced unprece-dented price growth overthe course of the pandemic, with the benchmark homeprice for the province up19.7 per cent from Septem-ber 2020, according to the Canadian Real Estate As-sociation. This has beendriven in part by buyers' desire for more space, awillingness to move fur- ther from business centres, and an ultra cheap cost ofborrowing," Graham wrote.A consistent lack of sup- ply has helped drive upprices, she said."The number of avail- able homes for sale has plunged progressivelydeeper each month in near-ly every major market, constraining sales and cre-ating tight sellers' marketconditions across the prov-ince," Graham added. That means buyers canexpect a bidding war whentrying to buy a property, she noted."While bidding warswere already prevalent inlarger markets, properties in smaller cities and townsare now regularly attract-ing multiple offers. This of- ten results in homes sellingfor more than they're listedfor — often by hundreds ofthousands of dollars," Gra- ham said. The bottom five cities, where houses are sellingfor less than the listed price, are Caledon, Oak-ville, Kingston, Burlingtonand Milton. DURHAM HOUSING MARKETS ARE HOT, HOT, HOT Three of the hottest house price markets are in Durham Region. Whitby is second, while Oshawa is fourth and Ajax fifth. The markets were where houses were selling for more than the original listed price. The developer intendsto relocate Post Manorwithin the site, but resi- dents and the city wouldprefer it to stay put. Here are some factsabout the building, found in a report by ERA Archi-tects Inc., which prepared aHeritage Impact Assess- ment (HIA). • The one-and-a-half sto-rey stone house dates backto 1841. • It's designated underPart IV of the Ontario Heri-tage Act. • Jordan Post, from To-ronto, moved to Pickeringwith his wife Matilda in1838 and built the home in a rural setting surroundedby farmland and dusty con-cession roads. • With a stone founda- tion and cut fieldstone ex-terior, the house is stylishand sturdy. There are shake and metal roofs, a ve-randa trimmed with gin-gerbread, and detailedchimneys for the two inte- rior marble fireplaces. Themain door hints at a Greekrevival style that was pop- ular at the time. • Timber was used fromthe family mill for interior trim and floors. Unique hardware, mortar brack-ets, shutters and windowscomplement the building. • There is an unusual arched entrance to thebasement.• The Posts were early supporters of the evangeli-cal Church of Christ's Dis-ciples, which first met in anearby schoolhouse. To ac- commodate the growingcongregation, a churchwas built in the 1840s, di- rectly south of Post Manor,on the southwest corner ofBrock and Kingston roads. The church was later de- molished around 1900. • Jordan Post purchasedland at the southwest cor- ner of Brock and Kingstonroads to establish the cem-etery that still remains. • The combination of the Posts' farmhouse, thechurch, the cemetery, thesaw mill and the homes of fellow farmsteaders andcongregants formed asmall crossroads commu-nity there. • In 1860, Jordan Post be-came the first person to beburied in Post Cemetery. His wife, Matilda, was bur- ied there in 1886. The Postheadstones remain theretoday alongside those of neighbourhoods and fel-low congregants.• After their deaths, thehouse was sold to the Deve- rell family, which farmedthere.• In July 1905, a Ladies' Aid Society garden partyon the property wasmarred by a major fire at the Deverell barns, west of the house. Guests saved thehorses and cattle, while on-ly half a dozen of 70 fowlwere saved. The damage was estimated to be greaterthan $2,000.• Fast forward to the Clarke family, whichbought the home in 1948. In1956, a house fire killed themaid, Mary Armstrong. • Thirty years later, theClarkes sold the farm-house and surrounding land. A plaza was laterbuilt there and it, as well asPost Manor, remain on thesite today for commercial uses.ERA said the develop-ment is anticipated to pre- sent an impact on the site'scultural heritage value, but noted a mitigationstrategy has been designed to conserve the site's cul-tural heritage value, whichincludes a multimedia in-terpretation plan. ERAhelped the developer cre-ate a landscape conceptthat interprets and "con- temporizes" the historicfarmstead typology. Branch Architecture re-viewed the HIA and found, among other issues, it didnot see a convincing ratio-nale for the proposed build- ing relocation. Pickering'sCultural Advisory Com-mittee has requested thatthe developer make some changes to the proposal be-fore it's presented to theplanning and development committee, likely in latewinter or early spring of2022. To celebrate in the safest way possible, people should follow these public healthguidelines:•On Halloween, trick-or-treating should take place outdoors as much aspossible, and trick-or-treaters shouldwear face coverings. If it's possible to in-corporate a face covering into a costume, great! A Halloween mask on its own is notasubstitute for a face covering. •Trick-or-treaters should avoid crowd- ing on doorsteps, take turns at the doorand keep interactions brief, and maintainphysical distancing as much as possible. •For those planning a Halloween gath- ering, remember that the current gather-ing limits for social events are 25 peopleindoors or 100 people outdoors, but the fewer people who gather, the lower therisk of transmission•Outdoor gatherings are always safer,so stick to outdoor spaces whenever pos- sible •If everyone at an outdoor or indoorgathering is fully vaccinated against CO- VID-19, it's not necessary to wear a facecovering, though people should do so if itmakes them feel more comfortable•If some people at an indoor gathering are not vaccinated, are partially vaccinat-ed or their vaccination status is unknown, everyone should wear a face covering and physically distance •If some people at an outdoor gather-ing are not vaccinated, are partially vacci-nated or their vaccination status is un- known, people should wear face cover-ings when physical distancing isn't possi-ble •People who are immune-compro- mised or who face a high risk of severe ill-ness or exposure to COVID-19 should con-sider wearing a mask regardless of other guests' vaccine status •People who are sick with any symp-toms, no matter how mild, should stayhome •Hosts should make events as safe aspossibly by keeping windows open to in-crease ventilation indoors, regularly cleaning high-touch surfaces and provid-ing sanitizer and hand soap for guests touse. Mrs (Welfare) October 22, 1926 - October 14, 2021 ------------------ The Fallon family is deeply saddened to report that Nancy, our beloved Mother and Nanny, passed away in her 94th year on October 14, 2021 after a short, but peaceful stay at Ajax-Pickering General Hospital. Nan is survived by her two sons: Patrick of Sooke, British Columbia and Nick (Mary Lou) of Brooklin, Ontario. Nanny was adored by her four grandchildren: Simon (Nina), Dr. Elizabeth (Michael), Jack, and Daniel; god-daughter Jennifer Nichol, from New Zealand; nephews Christopher Welfare (Margaret) and Billy Welfare (deceased) and nieces Angela Richmond (Griff) and Daphne Penny (John). She will be especially missed by friends Rosemary and Keith Chandler as well as the numerous members of her extended family. Nan was predeceased by Sam, her husband of 44 years, and by her brothers Kenneth and Sydney Welfare. Nan was born in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England and, as a teenager, entered the workforce as a military secretary in London during WW2. In 1946, she met Sam Fallon of Scarborough, England. They were wed in December 1948 and started a family in Tunbridge Wells, with the birth of Patrick in 1951. As a construction consultant with the British Public Service during the post-war era, Sam was frequently away from home on assignment and in 1955 was permanently transferred to Nottingham, where Nick was born. In 1957, Nan and Sam made the visionary decision to emigrate to Canada, following her brother Ken who had moved to Toronto in 1956. In 1957, Sam was hired by the Ontario Ministry of Public Works at Queen's Park, Toronto and, in 1958, the family settled at 61 Emperor Street in the newly-formed suburban Town of Ajax, a dwelling that Nan would call home for 62 years. Life during the six decades in Ajax featured a wide range of volunteer and social activities, including the Ajax Garden Club, the Ajax Seniors Club and the Women's Auxiliary of Ajax-Pickering Hospital. Nan was a founding volunteer and Secretary with the Aldon School for Students with Special Needs. She was a member of Seaton (Pickering) Golf Club for nearly 50 years, serving on various Committees, participating in Ladies Invitationals throughout southern Ontario, and recording a hole-in-one in 1972. Nan was truly a life-long learner and offered informed opinions on many historical and contemporary topics. She became known to family as Cybernanny in 2011 when she received an iPad on her 85th birthday which opened up the world of the Internet, email and electronic news delivery. She was also a voracious reader and made a weekly pilgrimage to the Ajax Public Library, where she typically borrowed six to eight books, a habit which she continued well into her nineties. This poem speaks to how she was seen by her many friends and family in her final days. Ninety-five years look terrific on you You don't seem a day past "amazing", it's true You light up a room with your wonderful smile You've made "young at heart" your own personal style So no holding back, 'til the big day arrives Reflect on each candle, how you touched all our lives. Upon Nan's request, there was no funeral. However, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations to Ajax-Pickering Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. LAFRANCE, Gilbert A. ___________ Gil passed away peacefully on October 22, 2021, in the Ajax Hospital with family at his side after suffering a brief illness. Gil is survived by his wife Patricia of 66 years, his children Richard (Shannon), Robert, Laurence (Lynn dec.), and Denise, grandchildren Nikki (Gerald Lanchbery), Michelle (Greg Dionne), Cameron (Skyler), Margot (Greg Young), Andrew and David Lafrance and Paddington Scott, and great- grandchildren Faith, Charlotte, Will and Clara. Gilbert was born to Albert and Gertrude Lafrance in Noranda Quebec. He is predeceased by his brothers Lucien, and Gerald, and his sisters Lillianne and Claudette. He originally worked at Noranda Mines where he met his future wife, Pat. He moved his young family to the Ottawa Valley in 1962, settling in Pembroke, and later in Deep River, to begin a new career at AECL in Chalk River, transferring to Ontario Hydro's first nuclear station, NPD, in Rolphton. There, he took a position as a machinist-instructor at the Rolphton Nuclear Training Center, moving later to Ontario Hydro's Pickering Training Centre. He is fondly remembered by his co- workers, and by his many trainees (often inquiring about their careers in Hydro and OPG). In his retirement, Gilbert enjoyed travel and music with Pat, and loved meeting people and jamming with other musicians. Pat and Gil enjoyed playing piano and fiddle, and sometimes entertained at seniors' homes. He also enjoyed golf and downhill skiing. Gil was very fond and proud of his family, enjoying their company and their accomplishments. He was especially tickled with delight by his great- grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Moore Shute. Mother to John, his wife Nancy, Bill, his wife Jean, and Ron. Grandmother to Kathy (Kevin), Kelly (Tony), Robert (Shelby), Melissa, Brian(Carine), Shannon(AJ) and Hughie. Step grandmother to Jen (Dave) and Steve (Shauna). Great- grandmother to Sheridan, Makenna, Brooke, Ammy, Riley, Taryn, Aubrey, Aiden, Colton, Fin, and Grayson. Step great-grandmother to Amy, Julia, Adam, Kenzie, and Mason. Myrtle immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1957 from Belfast, Northern Ireland following her husband, Hugh, who immigrated in late 1956. At the young age of 30, she travelled here with three young sons. Myrtle and Hugh felt that Canada would provide better opportunities for their kids. She worked for the Bank of Commerce for years, then Allied Van Lines, and finally Warner Lambert in the accounting department. Retiring at an early age in 1983, she did volunteer work for hospital and then the church. This included active participation in a group called the 3C's who provided coffee, tea, and baked goods following the Sunday church service and they also made hats, scarves, and mats for children in less privileged countries. She always had a love of dancing, singing, children, and animals. Myrtle will be missed by her family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Abbeylawn Retirement Home, Centenary Hospital, and Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their loving and tender care. A celebration of life will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village, Ajax, on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 11 a.m., with inurnment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
