Come!
Let us sing for joy to the Lord.
Let us shout aloud to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before Him with thanksgiving

In His hands are the depths of the earth,

Claremont Public School
Education has been going on in Claremont since 1825. It started in an
old log building and continued in two more one -room buildings until
1888 when a three-room brick building was built on the same site as the
present school. A Continuation Class was added in 1909. This school
was used until 1923 when a much larger and more adequate five -room
school was built. In November 1972. due to more activities and greater
attendance, it was necessary to enlarge the building to its present state.
