"This indenture made the twenty-second day of May in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and forty- one
Between Francis Hamis Heward of the City of Montreal in the Province of Canada,
Merchant and William Henry Boulton of the City of Toronto and Province aforesaid
mentioned , Esquire Devisees and in Trust under the Last will and testament of the late
Peter Robinson deceased in his lifetime of the City of Toronto, aforesaid Esquire of the
first part and William Witter of the Township of Markham in the Home District and
Province aforesaid, yeoman of the second part.
Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part for and in the consideration of the sum
seventy five pounds of lawful money of the said Province, to them in hand paid by the
said party of the second part at or before the ensealing on delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Have granted, bargained, sold, aliened,
transferred, conveyed, enfoeffed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant ,
bargain, sell, alien, transfer, enfeoff, and confirm unto said party of the second part,
his assigns forever, all and singular that certain parcel or tract in the Township of
Pickering, in the County of York in the Home District, and Province aforesaid
containing by admeasurement Fifty acres be the same more or less composed of the
South half of the North half of Lot 21 in the Fourth Concession in the Township of
Pickering.
