Dear Sir re Burke Mortgage
We enclose you herewith the mortgage to McKenzie, the assignment of it to
Mr. Wemyss and discharge, also the following title papers: assignment DW Witter to
JB Burke; assignment Sophrania Hodger, to JB Burke; assignment Asa Witter to
Alex Robertson, assignment to Wm Willis to JB Burke assignment Sarah Winger to
Alx Robertson and copy will of J.B. Burke. We saw Mr. Clarkson about making
allowances to Mr Burke, he does not under the circumstances feel called upon to
make any further all-owances than the interest that has already been allowed off,
except that he has paid us the cost of the discharge which proposing should fall
upon Burke. This is the best we can do-
